Skyway Mont Blanc

In this famous quotation of Bonatti is perhaps more reflected what was, and still is, the cable car of Mont Blanc. Skyway Mont Blanc will not only transport you in just over 15 minutes to the 3,466 meters of Punta Helbronner, but it will also make you live a wonderful experience. The highest peaks of Europe await you from the circular terrace. 

Inaugurated in 2015, the new Mont Blanc cableway is considered one of the most technologically advanced systems in the world.

It is built over two cableways and 3 stations:

• The Pontal d’Entrèves departure station at 1,300 meters;
• The Pavillon station at 2,173 meters;
• The Punta Helbronner station at 3,466 meters.

Skyway Mont Blanc is equipped with rotating cabins that allow, in both journeys, to enjoy a 360° view of our valley.

You will have the opportunity to spend your day having lunch in one of the restaurants or snack bars of the stations, walking in the Pavillon Botanical Garden, admiring the crystal exhibition in Punta Helbronner or reliving the history of the Mont Blanc cable cars in the new Hangar 2173 museum.

During the winter, this station becomes an off-piste paradise, giving freeriders from all over the world the opportunity to have fun along the slopes of Mont Blanc. One of the most famous off-piste routes is certainly the Vallée Blanche, which from Punta Helbronner will allow you to descend along the glacier and reach Chamonix, in France.
