"Whoever ascends higher, farther he sees. Whoever farther sees, the longer he dreams" - Walter Bonatti
In this famous quotation of Bonatti is perhaps more reflected what was, and still is, the cable car of Mont Blanc. Sky Way Mont Blanc will not only transport you in just 15 minutes to the 3,500 meters of Punta Helbronner, but will make you live a wonderful experience. From the circular terrace of the glaciers await you the highest peaks of Europe.
Inaugurated in 2015, following the dismantling of the old Mont Blanc cable car that made the history of this area until that year, it is now considered one of the most technologically advanced facilities in the world. It develops in 3 stations and two cable-cars with a difference of over 2,000 meters. The station of Entrèves at 1,300 meters, the station of the Pavillon at 2,200 meters and Punta Helbronner at 3,500 meters. Sky Way Mont Blanc is equipped with rotating cabins that allow everyone, in both routes, to enjoy a view at 360°.
You can spend your day dining in one of the stations' restaurants or snack bars or spending time at the Pavillon's Botanical Garden during the summer time or admiring the crystal museum at Punta Helbronner.
During the winter this station becomes the paradise of freeride giving the possibility to people from all over the world to have fun along the slopes of Mont Blanc. One of the most famous off-piste routes is certainly the Vallée Blanche which from Punta Helbronner will allow you to descend between seracs and glaciers to Chamonix.
